Reflection on Class Presentations
We had four groups present in class and honestly it was better than I expected. Each group had their own chapters and everyone explained their parts in their own way. Some groups stood out more than others but overall everybody did solid.
Group 1
Group 1 was probably the cleanest. They went up there and it just flowed smooth the whole time. Everyone knew their part and there were no awkward pauses or stumbles. The way they spoke made it easy to follow along. You could tell they practiced and it showed.
Group 2
Group 2 had a lot of energy. One dude especially kept engaging with the audience and it made the presentation feel less like a lecture and more like a conversation. That stood out to me because it kept people paying attention the whole time. Their delivery had life to it and that made their group memorable.
Group 3
Group 3 did good too. They kept things organized and their points were clear. Each person did their part without dragging it out. It was not too much but it was not lazy either. They got their message across and kept it moving.
Group 4
Group 4 was my group. I will be real we were alright but not the best. Most of the group held it down but I was the one that messed up on my part. Even with that I think we still finished decent. We had good points just not as smooth as some of the other groups. If I could redo my section I would prepare more but overall I am glad we pulled through.
Final Thoughts
In the end I actually liked watching all four groups. Everyone brought something different to the table and it made the chapters easier to understand than just reading. What I noticed the most was how much effort people put into explaining their parts and making it clear for the class. Seeing my classmates present gave me more ideas for my own speeches. It showed me the value of being prepared and connecting with the audience and working as a team.
